Stage 1 of 5

The 48-Hour System Reset

You can't build a new habit on top of a spiral. Reset first.

Why the reset comes first

Most people try to fix their life by adding something — a new routine, a new app, a new goal. We do the opposite. Before anything gets added, we strip things back for 48 hours. No new habit sticks on top of chaos, so the chaos has to settle first.

What the 48 hours actually looks like

  • Cut the noise. Social media, news, and background input pause for 48 hours. Not forever — just long enough to hear yourself think.
  • Restore the basics. Sleep, food, water, and basic movement. Nothing advanced. Just present and consistent.
  • Run a Radical Honesty Audit. A short, plain-language write-up of what's actually going on. No performance, no spin.
  • Pick one habit. At the end of the 48 hours, you choose exactly one habit to carry into Stage 2: Movement. Not five. One.

Take it further

We put together a short companion guide on how habit change actually holds when you build it this way, instead of stacking on top of an already overloaded routine.
